My name's Alyssa and I like a lot of things. My blog is often composed of Harry Potter, Doctor Who, Supernatural, and Sherlock. I'm also fond of various Youtubers.
So it goes

The year is 2020. Cole Sprouse is getting married. The bride, when she is supposed to say ‘I do,’ instead says ‘IT WAS JUST A SOCIAL EXPERIMENT, HOW DO YOU LIKE ME NOW?’ and storms off. It is the fifth time this has happened. Such is life for Cole Sprouse.

Saying “my friend” is just much easier than saying “this person I follow on tumblr” so you’re all my friends whether you like it or not okay

When people turn to fictional characters, it’s often because they want an escape. The stories of these people shelter us from the storm of our daily lives; they save us, if only for a little while. But when we really give in, become invested, let ourselves be vulnerable, something changes. We begin to feel that we know them. It’s no longer just an escape, but part of us, something that makes us who we are.

These characters teach us that incredible adversity can be overcome. That people can love each other forever. That life can be an adventure. That magic can be real. And even if these miracles have never happened to us, we begin to go through life believing that, someday, they could.

“And I promise you that you’re important. Don’t look at me like that- in all my 900 years I’ve never met someone who wasn’t important.”

“Cheer up mate, it gets better. Look at me, I was once a little kid living under the stairs. You’ll do fine.”

“Hey. I know it seems like life sucks, that you’ve got the devil on your tail. Hell, sometimes you do. But you’re strong enough to beat him. You’ve got friends at your back and family too, and that’s what really counts in the end.”

“Don’t be silly, they’re wrong about you; of course you matter. You’ve always mattered.”

do you ever just stop to think about lucifer

and how he was in the pit for millennia

scheming and plotting every single tiny detail of his rise to power

thinking through everything that could possibly go wrong, and creating hundreds of backup plans for each scenario

and the one thing that he didn’t plan for

the one thing that was his downfall

was sam winchester loving his brother more than anything in the entire universe

do you ever just think about that

The angel Castiel was much distressed, for he sought the lord God yet knew not where to search.

The Righteous Man perceived this and said in jest “Seek the lord God in the land of New Mexico, for I hear he is on a tortilla”

But, lo, the angel Castiel did not understand this jest and gave consideration to the Righteous Man’s suggestion.

Then he spake and said “Nay, he resides not on any flat-bread” and an awkward silence did fall.
